Iosef Yusupov-Cohen is American costume and set designer, painter who was one of artistic directors and conceptual designer for the team of 2014 Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Sochi, Russia.
Since moving to the United States, he has designed costumes and sets for numerous shows in US and abroad, including plays, operas, movies and TV productions.
Iosef has worked with notable directors: Francesca Zambello, Robert Sturua, Peter Sellars, Andrey Konchalovsky, Julie Taymor, Shaig Safarov, Andrew S. Paul, Efim Maizel, Barzy Abdurazakov, Rosemary Andress.
He is a member of United Scenic Artists. Many art works by Iosef Yusupov are in private collections Israel, Russia, USA, Canada and in collection of State Central Theatre Museum of Bakhrushin, Behzod Fine Arts Museum.
